Fresh cheese from a mountain top cheese maker called Azienda Agricola.

 It is the middle of the afternoon here in Trevignano Romano, Italy.  Marco(my host) and I took a walk through the mountain trails this morning(more like mountain climbing) :).
After the walk, we took a drive to the top of the mountain where we purchased some fresh cheese.

Fresh ricotta, I mean really fresh like butta!!!!!

Now that we have our cheese , we headed back to the house for a early lunch!!!!!!11.30am.
Lots of sun in the house!!!!!

This a mixture of pancetta, ricotta and cavittelli, nutmeg. We washed it down with a German beer.

Now for a desert that I have never tried. Probably new to all of you. Try this and let me know how you like it!!!!
A mixture of sugar, cocoa and fresh ricotta.

Mixed together with espresso(Marcos childhood desert made by his mom as a quick fix!!!)

  1. What a treat, You lucky American. Did you have any sheeps milk ricotta yet? It's so creamy and pure. Nothing like the ricotta here.
